Forth Quarter Challenge
&
Team Project
Challenge Overview: The forth quarter challenge is designed to challenge the students to
finish off the year strong (mentally and behaviorally) rather than the idea that the school
year is over.
Team Project Overview: The team project is based on 2 dimensional and 3dimensional
shapes. (volume, area, and surface area)
Challenge Goals:
To follow the rules of the school and the class exactly.
Do the right the thing without having to be reminded.
Team Project Goals: To work as a team, put an architecture business portfolio together,
and submit a bid for the only A+ per class. Note: All teams can receive an “A” but only
one team can get the A+(100%).
How to get the A+: Your team has to be in the 90% range at the closing of the bid
process to be considered. That mean after your projects are turned in my decision will be
made, I need to be impressed.
How to impress the teacher:
 Your work is neat.
 Your work is complete.
 Your team goes over and beyond what was asked to make all your work look
professional.
How not to impress your teacher and lose 1% point per team:
 Being tardy/absent.
 Not doing homework.
 Doing homework but not showing your work.
 Not following the rules (using pens in class, gum, etc….)
 Needing to reminded to be quiet. (2 warnings per day only.)
