PROJECT ARCHITECT
As a licensed architect I can offer strong skills in architectural design, construction
document preparation, specification writing, bidding and negotiating and in house and
on-site contract administration. I have gained extensive architectural and management
experience as a partner and/or sole proprietor of architectural firms. As Project Architect
for a mid-sized Las Vegas firm I gained skills in managing design, production and
interior design personnel for large projects. I am capable of working on multiple projects
simultaneously. I have extensive experience in performing Quality Control/Quality
Assurance on contract documents and prioritizing assignments and tasks. My
architectural experience includes all types of construction materials. I have worked on
low rise projects and high rise projects. During my career I have developed extensive
computer skills which include Microsoft Office programs, AutoCad and Revit (BIM).
I have enjoyed spending considerable time in the field. Being the son of a small general
contractor, I developed construction skills early in life. This facilitated my employment
with various construction companies during college as a framer, concrete laborer, finish
carpenter and ultimately as assistant project superintendent for a residential subdivision
development. My architectural career began in the drafting department for a large
construction firm while attending architectural school.
