COURSE OBJECTIVE
To introduce the student to the Spanish verb tenses conjugation of present, regular past and
idiomatic future while providing the necessary skills and vocabulary for the student’s first contact
with Spanish. The student will be able to express his/her basic needs, such as greetings and
farewells, and how to describe his/her surroundings, possessions and preferences.

LESSON I
Communication objective.
- To introduce himself/herself
- To greet and to bid farewell.
- To obtain personal information.
- To talk about personal information: nationality, profession, place of work.
- To tell time.
- To understand instructions in class.
