COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND REGULATIONS:
To apply, please meet with your potential advisor in order to complete the following items and email the following to
bmiwestern@uwo.ca by no later than September 9, 2016:
(1) Description of your proposed research project/program (including the objectives and underlying hypotheses, present state of
knowledge bearing on the proposed project/program, and anticipated outcomes such as publications, presentations, contributions
to HQP development) – two pages maximum;
(2) A lay summary of your research proposal and how the project/program will advance research at the BMI (may include helping
new faculty launch their labs, bringing new methodological or analytic expertise to the BMI, facilitating new collaborations between
labs at BMI and/or other groups on campus, and/or recruiting prominent candidates to work on innovative projects) – one page
maximum;
(3) Your curriculum vitae;
(4) Statement(s) from proposed BMI advisor(s) that provide a summary the applicant’s proposed research project/program, outlines
the applicants unique assets for BMI, explains why the applicant would be promising/a good fit, confirmation to support and
provide matching funds toward the salary, and the proposed starting date (append to end of application or email as a separate
attached); and
(5) Two reference letters at minimum. (Referees to directly email letters to bmiwestern@uwo.ca).
