Requirements:
Genuine aptitude and interest in animal care and genetic improvement
Extensive practical knowledge AND/OR the equivalent of a veterinary assistant certificate or higher
Ability to administer extensive herd health and biosecurity protocols
Experience in the dairy industry in the production of high quality milk
Animal husbandry skills to manage animals at extremely high production levels
Computer skills to maintain herd records for both herd management and international marketing
Ability to work well with support staff and outside consultants
An open mind towards new ideas and research
No smoking allowed on premises (non-smoker preferred due to allergy concerns)
Knowledge of other languages not required, but preferred
Wages & other benefits: dependent on experience and credentials
