Shadowing Program
Below you will find an extensive list of Radiologists at Mount
Sinai who have agreed to participate in a new Shadowing
program. The list includes Radiologists from across all subspecialties, who are willing to have students come shadow
them and learn about the field
Below each of the Radiologists name you can find the
instructions on how to go about shadowing them. (Please be
advised some of the Physicians have specific hours during
which they read, and some of them do not need you to e-mail
them to let them know you are coming)

Dr. Briley-Saebo has several research projects that may be of interest
ranging from development of molecular imaging probes to cell labeling
and tracking by MRI. She is currently starting a micro-PET study in
mice to determine the efficacy of Cu64 labeled antibodies to detect
oxidized lipoproteins in vivo and would love to have a student interest
in PET imaging and/or cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Mendelson reads a collection of plain X-rays, 4 mornings a week,
on a rotation known as the Medical Board. On the days he reads,
which may vary, he starts at 9 AM and usually go for 1 1/2 - 2 1/2
hours. Students are welcome to join him in that forum. They can
check his schedule with Gifty Mensah, the administrator for education
in the department.
