1. USE
Drying absorbent to deal with any spill of oils and hydrocarbons.
Take off all greasy films to avoid sleepy grounds.
Use with or without the mobile station PelicanBox.
Do not use on acids (same use than sawdust and granules)
2. CARACTERISTICS
Packaging: bags of 13,5 kg containing 25L.
Recycled cotton fibres in form of heavy powder.
Can be used until it gets saturated.
Not abrasive. Do not contain silicium dioxyd.
Absorbs 5 to 6 times more than traditional sawdust and granules.
Do not leach back the product absorbed.
Efficient on any type of surface: paints, resins, concrete…
Fireproofed.
Waterproofed.
Biodegradable - Can be incinerated with ashes rate < 3%.
Absorbtion test ASTM method :
New oil SAE40 : 7 its weight
Kerosene : 8,2 its weight
Gasoil : 7,5 its weight
Adhesion test :
93,4% residual grip on pavement with a single pass (NF T90-190 Norm)
3. INSTRUCTIONS
Before opening the bag, homogenize the product while shaking the refill.
Easy opening : pull the tongue and the white thread (on the upper corner, on the left side, when you are
facing the bag).
Sparkle the product directly on the spill.
Contrary to sawdust and other absorbents, no need to wait for absorption. Sweep up FIBERCAN
immediately : the grounds becomes dry and safe. On rough grounds, use a hard brush.

Pile the product up. As long as the absorbent is in powder form, you can re-use the product. When nonsticky balls appear (as modelling clay), you know that the product is saturated. The absorbent can be
used several times before being saturated.
The use of the absorbent economizer PELICAN BOX, enables you to save the non saturated product in
order to reuse it.
Stock the contaminated absorbent in an appropriate container.
Reprocessing : the elimination of the contaminated absorbent should follow the legislation in force. The
absorbent takes the waste’s code of the absorbed product. Most of the time, it is considered as a
special industrial waste or a dangerous waste.
