INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

INTRODUCTION
Those intending to present a paper are requested to submit an extended abstract or short paper
preferably in English on at least 4 pages, but on no more than eight pages including tables, figures
and references. The layout and typing instructions are given below.
The following format should be kept:
Page size A4 (21cm x 29,7cm), margins for the whole paper: 20 mm left, right, bottom margin, 50
mm top margin on the first page and 20 mm top margin from second page.
Title of the paper should be written in Times New Roman 14/bold/capital letters/centered.
Authors name are placed after an empty line in Times New Roman 12/bold/centered.
Authors’ address including e-mail are written after an empty line in Times New Roman
12/centered.
After an empty line again the paper itself should be written in single-column Times New Roman
12/justified.
Main paragraph headings are suggested to apply Bold Capitals. You may use this file as template.
TEXT PART
The text part should be justified.
SUBMISSION OF THE PAPER
Authors are requested to submit their paper electronically, by sending the word file in an e-mail to
the Secretariat address: manuf2012@gteportal.eu. The Conference Program Committee will screen
and check the submitted papers for acceptance. After giving a feedback for changes and
suggestions, a revised version should be submitted till the final deadline for camera-ready versions.
At this time, both DOC (RTF) AND PDF versions of the same paper are requested to be sent to the
Secretariat.
If the editors find inconsistency between the word file and the doc file, the authors will be informed
via an email at their email address.
DEADLINES
10 September: early registration with payment for bonus
14 September: registration for authors
28 September: submission of papers in the given format, sent as an email attachment to
manuf2012@gteportal.eu
9 October: feedback from reviewers with suggestions for change
23 October late evening: „Camera-ready” final paper submission in DOC and also in PDF file
formats.
8 November: deadline for registration as conference participant
14-16 November: Conference, at MTA-SZTAKI, Budapest, 1111 Kende street 13-17.
DIAGRAMS, PICTURES, DRAWINGS, FIGURES
Use sharp contured figures, drawings and photos. Xerox copies of unclear pictures are unreadable.
