List of Recent Graduate Students’ Dissertations and Publications
Below is a list of recent PERL doctoral students. All of the students obtained their first
choice of internship and are now working in. academic and research settings. As can be
seen from the publication and presentation lists of these students, PERL is a highly active
and productive research lab. In addition to the listed students, there is also a large number
of foreign scholars from all over the world working in the lab.
The expectations, demands, and scientific standards here are very high. You need to have
a passion for science and research. If you would like to pursue a career in clinical
science, this could be the right place for you; but if you are primarily interested in the
practice of psychotherapy, this is not the right place for you. If you would like to be
challenged intellectually and are open to learn new ways of studying mental health and
psychotherapy, this might be the right place for you; but if you think you already
understand psychology and believe you know the answers to your questions, this is not
the right place for you. You need to be able to work well in teams, be willing to challenge
yourself, and be open-minded - but no so open-minded that your brain falls out.
