Euroguidance UK: We currently have a good working relationship with the EURES network here in the UK. We supply them with our database of information, EXODUS and deal with specific enquiries from them. We have also produced a series of factsheets specifically for EURES clients and will continue to update these. We will also invite EURES to take part in events that we will organise this year. We have established good relations with UK NARIC/NRP and are considering a number of joint activities this year (for example included them in our Careers Europe European Awareness Event planned for September). We have created links between our websites and theirs and are each producing information to be used by the other. Euroguidance Finland: The new National Advisory Group of Euroguidance Finland, nominated for 2007-09, has representatives of ENIC/NARIC and Eures networks. The Finnish Eures manager takes part in planning and evaluation meetings with the Ministry of Labour concerning Euroguidance services targeted at the labour administration. CIMO cooperates with Eures in the production of country-specific information to the internet (previously printed ‘destination country’ -handbooks). Eures advisers are responsible for the content of the guides dealing with working opportunities abroad, CIMO is responsible for the content dealing with study and traineeship opportunities abroad. Regional in-service events are offered to the guidance community as a joint effort between Euroguidance, Eures, ENIC/NARIC and Europass. This is supported by joint publicity material. CIMO hosts the Eurodesk network in Finland. Euroguidance Finland, Eurodesk Finland and the Finnish National Agency for Youth in Action Programme will jointly seek cooperation with a national youth information centre that has been established in the City of Oulu. The core elements of this cooperation will be information sharing and joint in-service activities aimed at municipal youth information centres. As a part of the Nordic-Baltic Euroguidance subgroup activities, a joint seminar will be organised in March 2008 in Riga by the Nordic and Baltic Euroguidance, Eures and Europass centres to promote the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. Awareness raising and visibility of the mobility networks will also be achieved through regional information events and fairs. Euroguidance Romania: Develop a common activity plan between Euroguidance and others European networks such as: EURES, NARIC, Europass in order to assure the synergy of their specific actions. The common activity plan will aim to improve the trans-national and multisectorial exchange of information, to collaborate for specific publications, to synchronize the training of the staff involved and to develop common events. Working for complementarities between Euroguidance and CEDEFOP (one member of the Euroguidance team is nominated as representative for Romania in CEDEFOP – ReferNet). Continuing to promote information support for student mobility in education and training, scholarships and grants offered by the educational or governmental institutions to the Romanian and foreigner candidates. Euroguidance Turkey The TRNA is setting up Eurodesk unit by 2008 under the Youth in Action programme. Being located within the same organisation and building, a good level of cooperation can be realised between Eurodesk and Euroguidance. The Euroguidance Turkey will cooperate with the Eurodesk unit within the TRNA as well as other EU information networks existent in Turkey (ENIC/NARIC, managed by The Council of Higher Education of Turkey) and try to avoid unnecessary duplication of information. Eurodesk staff will be invited to the relevant events that will be organised, as appropriate, in order to initiate effective cooperation between two information networks. We are aiming establishing a good and practical relationship with other European Mobility related networks and their national contact points considering collaboration channels with the relevant networks and other Euroguidance Centres. After finishing the action mentioned above, their links may be put on the Turkish Euroguidance Centre web site with necessary explanatory notes for Turkish people in the field of guidance and counselling services in general and vocational education, training, employment, labour market, etc.
