The tractor was caught in a soft place and in attempting to release it, poles had been placed under the front wheels and this caused the machine to tip back and crush him to the ground. Dr. O.S. Vickery, Waldo County Medical Examiner, with Deputy Sheriff Ralph A. Light were called to investigate the accident and report it was without a doubt instant death.
