In order to further my knowledge on the latest evidence-based approaches in pediatric health, I would
like to attend the 37th National Conference on Pediatric Health Care sponsored by the National
Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). The conference will be held on March 16-19,
2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. I am seeking sponsorship for the registration fee and other travel-related
expenses. A detailed cost breakdown is included below.
More than 1,500 healthcare professionals from across the nation attend the NAPNAP National
Conference. This comprehensive educational experience includes hot topic sessions on child health
policy, intensive workshops, poster, podium and paper presentations providing critical insights from top
leaders in the pediatric healthcare field. I am confident these stimulating education sessions and courses
will greatly improve my current skill set. The training that I receive at the National conference will help
me perform my job more effectively by ensuring our patients have the most current and effective health
care. This year NAPNAP’s conference will offer an increased number of educational sessions and poster
presentations for novice to expert skill levels in acute, primary and specialty care topics.
Attending the NAPNAP 2016 National Conference & Exhibition will offer a myriad of opportunities to
meet with my peers and learn the latest in technology and evidence-based advanced practice nursing
techniques. I will have direct access to vendors and major suppliers of pediatric and family products to
help identify new services to enhance our patient care and safety while improving our clinical
competence.
