I always wanted to be a part of Primary health care and in pursuit of my
dream a joined a clinic in northern india which has average flow of 70
patients a day and I had exposure of a wide spectrum of diseases such as
Chronic Hypertension,Diabetes Mellitus,asthma,hyperlipidemia,thyroid
disorders, Cushing syndrome,various other endocrinopathies,acute
gastroenteritis,ulcerative colitis,leshmanisis,amoebeasis ,peripheral
neuropathies as well many medical emergencies such as Myocardial
infarction,acute LVF,Ischemic stroke,Status asthmaticus,acute
exacerbation of COPD, pesticide poisoning,snake bites etc.
The General Practice experience helped me to evolve as an independent
Clinicians .

After my G.P experience ,I wanted to hone my skills in field of acute and
intensive care and that brought me to one of most prestigious hospital in
New Delhi.I have joined the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Memorial hospital , New
Delhi (which is a1000 bed, government hospital)as Resident physician.SGMH, ICU is
run by 2 full time consultants and 6 Resident physicians and we admit both General
medical as well cardiac critically ill patients and Residents are responsible for all
aspects of patient care whilst they are in ICU. Experience includes the long-term
ventilation of patients, intubation, resuscitation,nutrition, and many other areas.
