Exceptional audience reactions occur from time to time. At a recent show in
Rio de Janeiro, the audience kept the ensemble on stage for half an hour
during the encore. Even more unusually, at the autograph session afterwards
two of the dancers received marriage proposals! Clips from the show on
broadcast on TV Globo in Brazil reached an incredible 60 Million viewers –
probably the highest audience rating ever for an Irish Dance show.
