In order to promote education and facilitate delivery of high-quality care of physicians and other professionals caring for patients with cancer, data of relevance for integration into clinical practice in the management of breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and hematologic malignancies will be discussed. The key note speaker will review new data on prevention and survivorship in oncology, and genetic panel testing in colon and breast cancer. Target Audience This symposium is designed for practicing medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, hematologists, oncology nurses and other clinicians in the region. Objectives At the completion of this symposium, participants should be able to: Evaluate and discuss the latest advances in the management of gastrointestinal tract malignancies. Update and integrate novel approaches in the management of genitourinary malignancies Review and restate new technology, updates and advances in the treatment of lung cancer from the national ASCO 2015 meeting. Report on new information and advances regarding breast cancer diagnosis and treatment from the national ASCO 2015 meeting. Discuss and debate emerging data and recent advances relating to the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies and integrate key findings into clinical practice.
