The dept of Cardiology was established at the beginning of 2004 and offers secondary and tertiary cardiology services to the people of the district of Paphos. The services provided include acute cardiology, intensive cardiac care, stress tests, 24h ECG and blood pressure monitoring, transthoracic, transoesophageal, stress and contrast echocardiography, tilt testing, implantation of single and dual chamber pacemakers and ICD’s and follow-up of patients on outpatient basis. We consider the annual educational courses and other similar activities of the department, as extremely useful in updating with the most recent advances in a continuously changing field, like cardiology, and in exchanging, at the same time, experience and knowledge with colleagues from other hospitals and institutions, local and international. We welcome you warmly to the beautiful city of Paphos, once capital of Cyprus, we thank you for your participation and we wish you a fruitful and pleasant stay.
