CATS:
FVRCPP
Respiratory Diseases - (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Pneumonitis)
prevents severe flu-like symptoms including sneezing, runny eyes, fever, not eating.
Distemper - (Panleukopenia) a highly contagious deadly virus. This easily travels through
the air so even indoor cats are threatened. Signs include diarrhea, runny eyes, sneezing and
sudden death.
FELINE LEUKEMIA VIRUS
Weakens immunity, causes anemia and tumors. Spread by bites wounds, saliva or any
secretions from an infected cat. Do not let your cat go outside at all or have contact with a cat
that goes outside without getting this vaccine! Always fatal.
FELINE IMMUNODEFICIENCY DISORDER (FIV)
Diminished ability to mount an effective immune response. Often referred to as "Feline
AIDS". Caused by heritable defects in the immune system. Spread by bites wounds, saliva or
any secretions from an infected cat. Do not let your cat go outside at all or have contact with a
cat that goes outside without getting this vaccine! Always fatal.
RABIES
A deadly disease spread through contact with saliva from an infected animal, ex. biting,
licking. We recommend vaccination for all pets to prevent spread to humans and to avoid
quarantine or legal problems in case your pet bites someone.
DOGS:
DHLPP-C
Distemper - a fatal virus causing vomiting, diarrhea, coughing and/or seizures.
Hepatitis - a virus causing liver disease.
Leptospirosis - causes kidney diseases.
Parainfluenza - causes severe cough/respiratory problems
Parvo - a virus causing bloody diarrhea, vomiting, rapid dehydration and death.
Corona - similar to parvo but not as severe
BORDATELLA
The most common cause of "kennel cough", a dry hacking cough commonly caught from
contact with other dogs, ex. boarding, shows, parks, grooming.
LYME DISEASE
Infection transmitted by ticks causing muscle pain and varied symptoms. Vaccination is
recommended for dogs that come into contact with ticks, ex. Hunting, camping.
