I also have news about a new directive issued by the Financial Services Authority. This relates to what you should expect of [ABFS] and is called ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ (TCF). As the name suggests, TCF is designed to give you the confidence that we have done everything we can to ensure your interests are taken care of in the most appropriate way possible. Much of this directive was already in hand at [ABFS], but it now formalises many of our research and communication processes so that independent auditors can confirm they are working, if and when required. In reality, therefore, you may see little change but you can be assured that you will continue to hear from us on a regular basis and, at least once a year, we will endeavour to organise a meeting face to face.
