RISK REGISTER UPDATE
HEADLINES
It has been a quiet month in terms of risk management as much work had previously been carried
out to allow a start on site.

Site work has started to level the site and insert the concrete piles.

Following value engineering, reductions and omissions, the funding for the construction of
the new schools is able to meet the cost of £22.323millions.

At this early stage of construction, the risk exposure index remains at 58% compared with
the optimum risk target level of 46%.
EXPECTATIONS/ISSUES
The main areas for concern are:

Resolving the outstanding cost issues for the access road.

Managing the project within the approved budget and timescales for the scheme.

Resolving the governance and premises management of the accommodation for the two
schools upon completion.
