Originally the Devinne Press Building, it was named for Thomas Devinne, a scholarly printer who printed ‘Scribner’s Monthly’ amongst other publications. It was built in 1885 and the distinctive design had considerable influence on the architecture of contemporary commercial buildings. In recognition of its historical significance, the building is listed with the national register of historic places. Divine Studio is designed to accommodate an intimate private party or a large corporate event. It can be used as one large 3100 square foot space or divided into 2 separate spaces, both with fully equipt kitchens. We can accommodate up to 100 for a seated dinner with dancing and 200 for a cocktail reception. We have beautiful ambient lighting, sleek modern furniture and great open views with both southern and western exposures. The space has vaulted ceilings, elegant columns and floor to ceiling arched windows. We cater to the needs of the special events market and welcome inquiries.
