Reproduction” to: Shanghai Bright Dairy, Shanghai; Shanghai Dairy
Association, Shanghai; China Agricultural University, Animal Science Institute,
Beijing.
2004-Euro-Mediterranean Summer Program--Lleida, Spain: Spent 4 weeks
taking classes in areas of Spanish agriculture, culture, and language as well as 6
weeks doing an animal science internship that included palpating with dairy
reproductive veterinarian Dr. Fernando Lopez-Gatius and working in a swine
research lab under Dr. Joan Estany.

Skills Obtained: Proficiency at pregnancy palpation, common bovine surgical

Responsibilities Included: Conducting dairy cow vaccine field trial,
implementing induction and farrowing assisting protocol on swine genetic
nucleus, preparing laboratory samples, researching a variety of dairy and swine
related topics.

Responsibilities Included: Animal feeding, waste management, treatments to
