Other interesting facts which make this volcano unique
Students will build a model of their volcano and be able to discuss the
parts of the volcano using standard volcanic terms.
Successful teams will have the opportunity to demonstrate the likely
type of eruption the volcano would have. (usually sputtering/gaseous,
flowing lava, or explosive). The eruption must match the type of
volcano being presented. The team will place the volcano on a large
world map (outside) near the correct location.
Teams will be judged as a team but grades will be recorded
individually. It is up to each team member to be sure the information
is present and all aspects of the project are completed.
