At Helena Veterinary Service our doctors and staff provide caring, compassionate, state
of the art veterinary care at affordable prices for your new kitten.

The package includes well kitten exams, Feline Leukemia and FIV testing,
vaccinations, and parasite control with a microscopic fecal exam, a series of oral
dewormers given two weeks apart, and regular nail trims as needed. You will
also be given a Well Kitten Kit (vaccine folder, cat toy, a Pet Care DVD, and a
3.5 lb bag of the Science Diet Healthy Advantage Kitten diet).
 This package also includes a discounted spay or neuter performed before your pet
is 9 months of age. The procedure consists of a physical exam, anesthesia,
surgical monitoring with ECG and/or pulse oximeter, a sterile surgery pack and
gown, surgery, nail trim, hospitalization, and pain control.
* Additional charges will apply if they are in heat or pregnant during the time of
surgery. These charges are not included in the kitten package.
Your cat can also be declawed at the time of spay or neuter. This will be done at
an additional charge (not included in the discounted list below).
 With all anesthetic procedures we recommend optional safety measures which
include: preanesthetic blood profile to evaluate organ function; EKG which is
read by a specialist to confirm that your pet’s heart can handle anesthesia, and IV
fluid therapy, which helps maintain your pet’s blood pressure and hydration and
promotes quicker recovery. THESE ARE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF
SURGERY AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE.
