Environmental Systems Research (ESR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international journal designed to foster innovative and original research on environmental systems science and environmental management. The journal aims to motivate and enhance the integration of environmental systems analysis to help develop management solutions that are consensusoriented, risk-informed, scientifically-based and cost-effective. The coverage of the journal includes new theoretical and application findings in the fields of systems science for environmental studies or closely related research areas.
