The Constitution and Democracy

OK – I’ve combined every resource site I had from three different
websites I created along the way. I’ve cut a nd pasted only those
portions that might be useful for the CONSTITUTION and DEMOCRACY
specifically. Many are ESL/ELL friendly. There are three sections: ELL
History, Dmeocracy and the Constitution and the Annenberg video
collections. PLEASE check the ANNENBERG videos. They are FREE and
may be of great use. We may even be able to edit them ourselves …
I hope this is helpful! Have a GREAT summer, Dan! I always enjoy
working with you (and chatting as well)!

American Revolution & The Constitution
Early America has online SHORT MOVIES about each of the following:
Paul Revere, George Washington and Declaring Independence. They are wonderful – they
include audio and video… However, they take a while to load; therefore, you may want to ask
Amelia to go to the site and allow the movies to load the period before you plan to visit with
your students. If you provide her with advance notice, she will be happy to do so – we discussed
it already.
