Supplemental data: Chromatographic separation and detection were carried out using an Agilent 7890A gas chromatograph equipped with a 5975c mass spectrometer (Agilent Technologies, Böblingen, Germany). A 30 m DB5-MS column (0.25 mm id and 0.25 μm film thickness; J&W, Folsom, USA) was used as the stationary phase for separation. Helium (6.0 quality, Hydrogas, Porsgrunn, Norway) was used as carrier gas at a flow rate of 1 mL/min with a 1 μL injection volume in splitless mode using a split/splitless injector. The following temperature program was used: 70 C (held for 2 min), then 15 C/min to 180C and 5 C/min to 280 C (held for 10 min). Ionisation energy of 70 eV was used to ionized sample gas. The electron capture negative ionization mode was used for determination and quantification of the pesticides and PBDEs while electron impact mode was used for PCB and DDT determination and quantification.
