General Policies and Conditions I appreciate local, certified organic, sustainably grown produce and
want to ensure that it remains available by participating in the Green Gate Farms Community Supported
Agriculture (CSA) Program.
I understand that the farmers, Skip Connett and Erin Flynn, pledge to do their best to provide the organic
vegetables, flowers and herbs they propose at the times they estimate. However, as a shareholder in both
the bounty and the risk, I understand that nature ultimately decides what I will receive and when I will
receive it. I have read the refund policy below and understand there are no refunds after the CSA begins.
However, if I find a replacement, I may sell or transfer my share to another party, with the approval of
Green Gate Farms.
The Fall CSA will likely span 12-14 weeks during which you will receive a wide variety of heirloom and
other tasty varieties of vegetables. We anticipate the CSA will begin around the end of September and end
mid-December. Each week costs $37.50 for a total of $525 for the season. (If you join after the start of the
CSA, payment is pro-rated.) Members can join for half of the season, but if you join for just the first half
there is no guarantee that membership will be available for the second half of the season.
Payment of $200 is required by September 15 to reserve your Fall membership. The remainder can be
paid in installments throughout the season. Contact Erin Flynn, greengatefarms@gmail.com, 512-9499831, to discuss other payment options. Signup is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority is given to
existing customers.
Do you split shares? Anyone splitting a share must do so on their own. We strive to provide an even
quantity of products to facilitate division. Green Gate Farms is not responsible for payment or
distribution when a share is split between parties and will not be involved in disputes between parties
splitting shares.
We have a small household, can we get a smaller share? Yes, with our Alternating Share you pick up
food every other week. Because we harvest on your pick up day, your food will remain fresh a long time.
What if I miss a pick-up?
We harvest your share on the pick up day you designate for the season. If
you are unable to pick up your share, please contact us as soon as possible (512-949-9831) to let us know
who will come in your absence. If prior notice is not given about a missed picked up, we must assume
you don’t want it and it’s forfeited.
Refund policy: We do not offer refunds for shares although we will accept transfers if you are unable to
continue your subscription. However, you are responsible to find someone to buy out your share. Any
prospective purchaser of the share must be able to pick up at the location where the original share was
designated. Green Gate Farms must be consulted before you sell your share and has final approval of
transfer of membership. In the unlikely event of dissolution of the CSA by the operators, refunds would
be issued on a pro rata basis within 60 days of date of dissolution.
