The Constantia Gift Fair will once again be held in the heart of the Constantia Valley
at SARDA from the 4th November – 8th November. The opening times are as follows:
4th November & 5th November (Wed & Thurs)
: 9am to 5pm
6th November (Fri)
: 9am to 8pm
7th & 8th November (Sat & Sun)
: 9am to 5pm
Food & Wine marquee to remain open until 9pm on Friday evening.
APPLICATION TO EXHIBIT
Please complete the attached application form and submit pictures of your
products with your application. We reserve the right to request a meeting to view
your products.
Please be very specific about the layout of your exhibition space and whether you
will be bringing display furniture or require table space. We need exact dimensions
of your display furniture or table space required. We place all the exhibitors on a
layout so the size of your stand is important for us to know when doing the layout.
Exhibitor options for 2015:
1. Retail Exhibitor:
The Retail Exhibitor will pay an upfront registration fee for the exhibition space
according to its square meters and 10% commission on total sales. The exhibitor will
be responsible for styling and managing his/ her own stand as well as sales during
the event. Your stock is not barcoded and does not go through our central till point
system. You will need to bring your own furniture for display purposes, we only
provide you with grass floor space. We encourage you to bring attractive furniture
pieces as it adds to the aesthetics of your area.
To apply to exhibit, please complete the attached Retail Exhibitor application and
email a brief description of the exhibit and an explanation of any special or unique
features. Also include useful information about the products. Application closes on
the 1st September 2015. Please note that we will require a plan/drawing of your
exhibit/stand. This must be submitted in digital format by no later than the 1st August
2014.

Please note that all card machine applications need to be done 1 month prior to the
event. We strongly advise that all exhibitors have a credit card machine available at
their stand.
SNAPSCAN
We have met with Kelsey Bishton from Snapscan, and we do encourage our
exhibitors this year to make use of this facility, as well as having a credit card
machine at your stand. Exhibitors can contact her directly to get registered with the
App. The cost is a standard flat rate of 3% on all transactions.

2. Consignment Exhibitor
The Consignment Exhibitor pays a registration fee of R 600. All items are marked up
at our standard 35% on exhibitor cost price.
All consignment stock is sold in the main exhibition tent and goes through one till
point system. We provide you with bar-coded price labels for these items and you
are not required to be there to sell your stock. Please ensure that you have enough
labels for all your stock on display as well as overflow stock.
Any exhibitor errors on labels which require re-printing due to price changes or errors
in calculations will be charged for to cover costs.
Labels need to be sent through to us before Monday the 26th October. We will not be
printing labels after Wednesday 28th October.
All stock can be stored under your table during the event but it must be barcoded.
When emailing us your stock sheet, please complete the section detailing how you
will display your stock, as this is such an important part of the event. Dimensions of all
display units are required to place onto our layout plan. When giving your
dimensions we require that you be specific about all dimensions so you are given
the correct amount of space on the day of set up. PLEASE GIVE US HEIGHT, WIDTH
AND DEPTH MEASUREMENTS.
When supplying us with your stock sheets please supply us with your supply price and
our retail price and complete in full. Please round off to the nearest whole number.
You are very welcome to display your contact details on your stock should our
shoppers wish to contact you directly.
3. Food and Wine Exhibitor
We would like to encourage each food exhibitor to create or offer their signature
dish/es for this event and give us an indication of what that will be by 1 st August 2013
so as to ensure that we have a wonderful selection for our visitors. Each dish must be
within the price range of R35 to R55.
Please note that there is no gas allowed in the Marquee as stipulated by the fire
department. Please give full details of the electrical equipment you will be using so
we will have adequate power to your area.
Each exhibitor is required to bring their own electrical extension cables but plug
points will be provided.
All vendors that will handle food must produce a valid health clearance certificate
and must comply with the Health Act 63, 1977. Please can you email these to
info@thegiftfair.co.za.
SECURITY
We will have 24 hour security on the premises from setup to pack up.
Although we do our utmost to make sure that all possible measures are taken in
terms of security, The Gift Fair does not take responsibility for any losses during the
show.
