Alongside improvements to the look and feel of the site, Cambridge is also pleased to announce a number of functionality enhancements. Comprehensive feature sets, including market leading personalisation and reference linking, ensure maximum benefit from research time for students and academics alike. Beta versions of the sites are now available for current customers to begin using, with the existing sites remaining accessible until the end of January 2013, when they will be switched off. URLs for the existing sites will not be redirected until the beta stage is complete on 31 January 2013. Cambridge Companions Online offers lively and accessible introductions to major writers, artists, musicians, philosophers, topics and periods, whilst Cambridge Histories Online allows instant access to the renowned texts of the Cambridge Histories series, with the most up to date and authoritative scholarly content.
