FREE FASTPITCH PITCHING CAMP FOR
PRAIRIE VILLAGE SOFTBALL PLAYERS AGES 7 TO 11

1 TO 2 PM
This pitching camp is designed to educate, train and instruct girls ages 7-11. Players will
be introduced to proper mechanics, balance, grip, the importance of the legs and
practice routines. Training is based on natural body movements to gain maximum speed,
accuracy and prevent injury.
Players must provide their own softballs, gloves and adult catcher. Time spent with each
player will depend on the number of players attending the camp. Arrive early enough to
run, stretch and throw before the camp begins.
About the Instructor
Donna Witten is the owner/instructor of Diamonds Fastpitch. She has been conducting
fastpitch pitching camps, clinics and private instruction in Kentucky for over 15 years.
During her years of instructing young student athletes, she has seen many of her
pitchers go on to have successful careers at all levels of competition including
competitive travel teams, high school and college.
Many of her student athletes have received recognition as All-State High School
softball performers in Kentucky, and have signed to play softball in college. Donna is an
advocate of teaching solid pitching mechanics, as well as learning the fundamentals of
the windmill pitch at an early age. One of her students who signed a Division I Athletic
Scholarship was recognized by her college coach for "having an exceptional base of
pitching knowledge and fundamentals."
