Description
Provide a brief, general description of the taxon. A reference to a detailed description could be
included.
Habitat
Describe the typical environmental conditions where the item occurs e.g. climatic conditions, land or
water type (e.g. fast-flowing streams, alpine heaths, rocky coasts in areas of high wave action), or
particular species with which the taxon is associated.
Distribution and
abundance
Distribution and abundance of the item throughout Victoria, with more detailed description of specific
localities if relevant. If distribution has declined, this could best be demonstrated by including maps
of past and present recorded distribution.
Threats
Identify any threats which are affecting the item or might do so in the future.
Special need
If a taxon below the sub-species level or a narrowly defined community is being nominated, identify
the additional special need to conserve it.
Eligibility

Indicate which of the primary criteria and sub-criteria stated in the Regulations the item satisfies, on
what evidence the case is based and cite the sources of this evidence. The evidence may have been
presented in full in the sections on "Distribution and abundance" or "Threats" above, but in this
section a summary of the logic of the case should be provided. Unsupported statements which need
to be verified delay the SAC's consideration of the nomination.
