Based in New England, Girl Howdy roars into town on a mission to keep the honky-tonk torch burning bright! Playing music from this classic era spanning the late 1940's to the early 1960's, Girl Howdy plays songs from such legends as Hank Williams, Kitty Wells, Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, Ray Price, the Davis Sisters and Webb Pierce as well as bluegrass giants the Stanley Brothers and Bill Monroe. Hogwild for raw twang, this all-gal band plows through their retro-based repertoire with energy, enthusiasm and utter devotion. Girl Howdy members are: lead vocalists Betsy-Dawn Williams and Paula Bradley hold down the driving rhythm guitar and punchy piano chairs respectively, with Rose Sinclair swooping in on steel guitar and Emma O'Donnell digging in on fiddle.
