Calling all creatives! We have a great opportunity for you to be a part of our current project, Fenland Lives and Land. The project is based around five community exhibitions exploring the relationship people have had throughout time with this unique landscape. We’d like you to have a go at creating your very own artwork inspired by the Fens. Your work should be entered into one of our five categories (depending on your age – please see below), which represent the five exhibitions of the project currently being produced across the region. These are: - Tales of Fen People Living on Land and Water Shops, Pubs and Trades River, Marsh and Mere Early History of Fen People - 5-10 yrs - 11-18 yrs - ADULT 18+ - ADULT 18+ - ADULT 18+ The artwork can be in any medium of your choice, from poetry to painting, photography to textiles, sculpture to drawing, pottery to collage, and film to cartography! All entries will be initially displayed online via our website. The winner of each category will have their work displayed as part of the relevant Fenland Lives & Land exhibition, which will tour throughout the region. Furthermore, the winner of each category will receive free admission vouchers for Norfolk Museums & Archaeology Service (NMAS) museums.
