We have a one year vacancy suitable for an experienced New Zealand registered Clinical Pharmacist wanting to practise their clinical skills or newly New Zealand registered Pharmacists wishing to grow their clinical knowledge. This is an opportunity to join our team of motivated pharmacists with a strong emphasis on clinical service provision and quality. The Clinical Pharmacist role includes: • Delivery of clinical ward services to a defined area • Medicine information • Medicine utilisation • In-service training/education • Case study presentation • Medicine related guideline/protocol development and reviews • Sterile / non-sterile manufacturing This is a full-time position and participation in the on-call roster is required. The department uses the Ascribe Dispensing System which is interfaced with the Pyxis automated ward dispensing and inventory systems, including the CII automated controlled drug system.
