and rock at 16:00 on Oct 22nd. .
(2)female body (Ah-Ya chang-Yu) was
drowned in a house in 242 Chunshan Rd
of Suao Village in the morning of Oct.
23rd.
(3)One female shop assistant (Jia-hua
Chen) of Wengcaiji Convenient store in
Zhongshan Rd., Su-Ao Township was
drowned after getting flushed away. (i.e.

the body floated on Southern Aojun
Lane).
(4)1 veteran citizen (Chao-shen Chen) lived
in Lengquan Rd., Su-Ao Township was
drowned on Oct 23.
(5) One female body (Yun Jun, Liu) was
found Tai 9 112.8k beneath the

highway.th Yun-Yun Liu in one white
compact car (LT-8505) is reported to be
lose of contact.
(6) Half of left the body (left arm,
left trunk, and left leg) was
digged Tai 9 112.8k below the cliff
was the part of the body of Zhi
Ming, Tzai the driver of the Hong
Tai travel agent.
(7) Half of the body (only left arm, the
upper side of body, and left leg) is found
at 8.5 nautical miles off the coast of
Dong Gang Juanwei Township on 25th,
and confirmed to be Yan Gong from
Chaunyu Tour Agency after DNA
examination.
2. 23 people lose of contact：
(1) 21 people lost of contact: All passengers
including 19 tourist from mainland
China, tour guide Chin-Hua Tseng, and
driver Min-Lin Kuo on the tour bus of
Chuanyi Tour Agency were lose of
contact; The tour bus from HonTai
Tours was buried by Taiwanese tour
guide Chi-Min Tsai and PRC tour guide
Yuen Tien were lost of contact.

1.. Airborne rescuing and searching status:
(1). Ministry of National Defense
a. 7 aircrafts of S70C carried 65 and 108 search and rescue personnel
to search at 112.8K and 114.5K respectively.
b. 1 aircraft of CH-47SD hung 7 4-ton excavators, 1 bulldozer and 2
buckets to 114.5K, and performed digging process.
c. 1 aircraft of CH-47SD hung 1 bucket to 116K and performed digging
process.
(2)、4 helicopters of NASC:
a. Coast Guard dispatched 1 ship, 6 boats, 59 vehicles and 314 people
to search at the sea area and shore from Keelung to Hualian.
b.Ministry of National Defense dispatched 7 ships and 702 people to
search at the sea (bottom).
2. As of searching sea：
a. 3 ships, 9 boats, 61 vehicles and 484 people of Coast Guard
performed search process at sea areas from Keelung to Yilan.
b. 1 Knox-class ship and 215 people performed search process at sea
areas from Keelung to Yilan.
3. As of searching on land:
Fire department, national defense sent 458 personnel, divided in Tai
line 112.8K, 114.5K area search along the road, coast, and cliff
digging and searching.

C. Other：
Concerning the possibility of falling at the top of upper slope in 116K+30
Tai 9 line, the rescue work had been temporarily stopped today (30th).
After the consultation of experts and related departments, it is evaluated
that there should be no immediate danger. Road repair and rescue mission
will be continued tomorrow (31th). At the highway and coast of 116K, repair
and rescue personnel should pay attention to your own safeties.
Relatively safe refuge area should be selected, and alert personnel should
also be designated at highway and coast. Repair and rescue process should
be monitored throughout the whole course. If there is anything abnormal,
should notify and evacuate immediately.
