Good Luck!!! 3 ROUND ROCK CHEER 2015-2016 Varsity Leadership Application I, _____________________________________ would like to apply for a leadership role in the RR Cheer program. Circle all that apply: Captain/Co-Captain/Spirit Officer/Social Officer I am fully aware of the extra time, effort, and expense that being in a leadership position entails. I agree to fulfill the responsibilities of any position I may earn to the best of my ability. If I am not selected for the position I seek, I will accept the results gracefully and I will make my positive contribution to the team in whatever capacity I may be given. I understand that being a member of the team is more important than being a captain/officer, and that regardless of the outcome of the tryouts, I will always be a team member first. I will always conduct myself with dignity, style, and good grace and I shall exhibit good will to all the captain/cocaptain/officer candidates before and after the elections. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to try out for a leadership position. I am aware that in reaching for this honor, I have placed myself in a league of winners that surpasses any positions that will be awarded at the end of the elections. ______________________________________ Signature of Candidate My daughter, __________________________, has my permission to try out for a leadership position. I have read and discussed the above statements with her and I am assured that my daughter understands and is capable of fulfilling the requirements of the elections. She has my support in her candidacy and she will be able to fulfill any responsibilities that will come with possible selection to the position for which she chooses. _________________________________________ Signature of Candidate’s Parent/Guardian 4
