Travel from Birmingham International to Birmingham city centre



The typical taxi fare from Birmingham International airport to
Birmingham City Centre is approximately £16.00. For longer journeys
the price should be agreed before the start of the journey – a price
guide to major destinations is displayed at the taxi rank.
Bus 900 leaves from Birmingham International train station and goes to
the city centre, the one way fare is £1.40 or £3.00 for a day ticket
which can be used on all the Travel West Midlands buses.
A 24-hour free bus service runs every 30 minutes between
Birmingham International Railway Station and the Hilton Birmingham
Metropole hotel. The journey takes 10 minutes. Guests can use the
free telephones in the airport and the station to ask for the bus to
collect them.
It departs at quarter past and quarter to every hour. Delegates can use
the free monorail (which runs every 90 seconds) to reach the train
station from the airport. The bus departs from the front of the train
station and runs 24 hours per day.
