of age or older

CONDITIONS OF PLAY
1.
This event is open to male amateur players who have attained the age of 55 or 65 years by 10 Feb 2014 and whose Golf
Australia Handicap does not exceed 18 at the time of entry.
2.
The Match Committee reserves the right to ballot the event should it be necessary and exclude any player from the
competition without assigning any reason for doing so.
3.
Entrance Fees will be $35.00 for visitors or $25.00 for Blackwood members (GST incl. and includes a meal after the
competition) Payment must be enclosed with the entry form, which is to reach the Manager of Blackwood Golf Club Inc no
later than 5:00pm on Wednesday 5 February 2014.

6.
Players will not be permitted to win more than one major prize.
7.
The Match Committee of the Blackwood Golf Club will make playing arrangements and be the umpire in the case of a dispute
or protest which must be lodged in writing with the Club Captain (or his nominee) not later than 5 minutes after the
conclusion of the day’s play. In the event of a tie, a playoff will be arranged at the discretion of the Match Committee.

This competition will commence at 12:30 pm (sharp) on Monday 10 February 2014 and will be played at the Blackwood Golf
Club, 611 Cherry Gardens Cherry Gardens Road, Cherry Gardens. Players will be advised on which hole and order they will be
playing by means of a draw which will be posted on the Blackwood Golf Club web site prior to the event and available at the
pro-shop on the day.
9.
Motorised carts/bikes will be permitted, however, if the temperature is forecast to be 40 degrees Celsius or greater all
motorised carts and bikes will be prohibited.
10.
The rules governing this event shall be the rules of golf as adopted by the R&A Rules together with any such rules (local) as
are in force by The Blackwood Golf Club Incorporated on the day of play.
11.
Competitors and supporters must observe club dress rules (denim jeans are not permitted).
12.
In the event that this region (Region 2, the Mount Lofty Ranges) receives a forecast the evening before of catastrophic fire
danger, the course will be closed. In the interests of safety, this event will therefore be postponed. The Match Committee will
determine an alternative date and participants will be advised by email. The new date will also be posted on the Blackwood

13.
Club Advantage privileges cannot be used for this event.
