In 2011, many of you attended our UW-Extension sponsored Renting Farm
Assets Workshop at The Valley. In 2012 we are providing an advanced
workshop that will cover much-much more information you will find useful.
Farmland rental is the most discussed issue in agriculture. Competition for
land is at a record level, and speaking of records, so are productions costs,
land costs and interest rates remain at record low rates.
The workshops will include information about local farmland rental rates,
rental rate trends, fixed and flexible cash rental, lease and contract law,
leasing forms, AgLease 101 resources, and decision tools for renters and
landlords.
