------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The "Eternal City" - Rome, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in
the world. Once the capital of western civilization, Rome has incredible
antiquities, gorgeous piazzas, stunning fountains, great food, and a wonderful
ambiance. The saying "All roads lead to Rome" was a truism during the Roman
Empire and the city displays its heritage in a spectacular fashion. Rome is a
fantastic destination; you will run out of time before you run out of worthwhile
things to see and do.
The Hotel Quirinale is a four star hotel located in the centre of Rome. The
Quirinale is located beside the Rome Opera House on the popular "Via
Nazionale" - one of the best shopping districts in Italy - and is centrally located
between the Piazza Republica, the Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. It is a
perfect choice for families, business travelers and tourists looking for
comfortable accommodation in the centre of Rome. It is near to the Via Veneto
and the Spanish Steps. The hotel backs onto the Rome Opera House - separated
by the hotels garden area.
History: The Quirinale Hotel was constructed in 1865 - around the time that
the famous Via Nazionale Street was being created. Many famous composers
and musicians (including Puccini and Verdi) stayed at the Quirinale Rome,
joined by members of Italian and foreign aristocracies. The original character of
the Italian hotel has been carefully maintained with Imperial style antique
furniture in most of our rooms.
Romantic Venue: - The decor throughout the hotel is in the traditional classic
Roman style creating a unique atmosphere for weddings, functions or parties.
