Bruce C.H. Cheng Founder and Chairman Delta Group Delta Electronics Foundation Bruce C.H. Cheng is the founder and chairman of Delta Group. Under his leadership, Delta has sustained over 40 years of vigorous growth to become a world leader in power supplies and electronic components that are employed throughout the global computer, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and networking industries. As the world’s number one provider of switching power supplies since 2002, and DC brushless fans since 2006, Delta is a major source for power management, components, visual displays, industrial automation, networking, and renewable energy products. The company has plants in Taiwan, China, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, India, and Europe, as well as R&D centers and sales and service offices throughout the world. Mr. Cheng has received honorary doctorates from National Central University, National Cheng Kung University and National Tsing Hua University. Mr. Cheng founded Delta Electronics in 1971 to produce television components. Prior to that, he held management positions at TRW in engineering, production, and quality control. Mr. Cheng began his career as an aeronautic instrument engineer at Air Asia Co. after receiving a BSEE degree from National Cheng Kung University. In 2010, Mr. Cheng’s autobiography “The Power of Integrity” was published. The book shares Mr. Cheng’s stories about founding Delta and guiding its success, as well as his thoughts on providing innovative, clean and efficient energy solutions for a better tomorrow. 2
