 Develop and manage a new education department, including program development,
budget management, personnel hiring and training, as well as creating and delivering
long-term exhibition-related projects.
 Prepared and presented the Interpretive Strategy for the PGC’s long-term galleries.
 Researched and developed a Report on New Interpretive Technologies.
 Currently developing the educational section of the PGC’s web site, including lesson
plans, a Web Quest, and student activities.
Online Program Developer
Canadian Museum of Civilization, 2006-2007
 Wrote the online program to accompany the Face to Face Hall. This program is
designed for classrooms across the country that will not be physically visiting the
exhibition. Includes lesson plans, activities, curriculum links, and student materials.

Library of Parliament 2006-2007
 Researched and wrote Library of Parliament’s teacher resource for Social Studies
curricula for Learners of English as an additional language. Includes a 60-page student
publication, an online teacher’s resource with twenty activities and ancillary materials, a
set of classroom posters, and a DVD.

 Developed and wrote Perf and Friends, a quarterly comic book for members of the
‘Stamp Quest’ club (circulation 60,000).
 Researched and wrote web content for Postal Planet, Canada Post’s web site for youth
and teachers, including lesson plans and student materials.

 Provided interpretive planning services for the exhibition, “Cool 60s Design”

to locate family members separated through closed adoption. Used ministry records,
public archives, and investigative skills to identify current addresses of search subjects.
 When appropriate, initiated contact between individuals and facilitated communication.
 Conducted support groups and workshops for individuals contemplating or in adoption
reunion situations.
