Neonatal Fellow

Neonatal Registrar

Locum cover for Sabbatical leave of Staff Neonatologist in the provision of clinical and administrative cover in a tertiary NICU/SCN.

Registered Medical Practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Medical practitioner holding relevant postgraduate qualifications in Neonatal Paediatrics, including eligibility for Specialist registration in Australia.

Position may be held by suitably trained neonatologist undergoing assessment by Australian Medical

Council.

Experience and training in all aspects of modern neonatal intensive care, including the use of High

Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation and the use of inhaled Nitric Oxide therapy

Care Nursery on an approximately 1:8 fortnightly cycle (varies with leave commitments)

Night and weekend cover of Special

Care Nursery and Neonatal Intensive

Care on 1:8 roster ( varying with leave commitments )

1 weekly Paediatric Outpatient Clinic

Growth and Development Clinic

Parent support and counseling

Night cover during on-call periods will be resident in hospital

Administrative assistance with routine
