Course description
It will be elaborated history of Christianity and Church in the today’s
Croatian ground based on affirmed and documented facts. It will be
acquainted with rich religious life and formation of religious mentality
of Croatian people. In this course it well be analyzed an historical
period from arriving of Croatian on territory of ancient Roman
province of Illyricum and their Christianization, to the adoption of a
Christianity and formation of a medieval Croatian dioceses and
establishment of national church hierarchy. It’s acquired a knowledge
of most important historical events and persons in the ecclesiastic
and political life on the medieval Croatian ground.
