Abstract
Abstract cannot exceed 250 words. Entire manuscript should not exceed 25 formatted pages if previously editor-in-chief did
not approve it. Text needs to be formatted as DOC file type (Microsoft Word). The main or corresponding author need to
ask editor for, fill and send back copyright form where transferring relevant rights to publisher. Such statement is valid for
all authors.

1. Introduction (here is example title of 1st level, paragraph with citation of figures
and references, general rules and single figure with caption)
In the ... area, (Figure 1), geological investigations were carried out... Upper Cretaceous limestones and dolomites from
A and B Formations were investigated (Salem et al., 1991; Troger and Rohlich, 1991).
Tables and figures should be included in DOC file as text (tables) and imported (figures) bitmaps (.jpg, .tiff ...). The
position of figure or table in the text can be changed later by editors or reviewers. Using for figures and tables Arabic
numerals. Avoid numbering individual figures as Fig. 11a and Fig 11b (instead of Fig. 11 and Fig. 12). Figures and
photos prepared for paper can be black-white or colour. Be sure to send clear, high-resolution figures and photos,
because they could be reduced in size during formatting. If you would like to keep original size of your figure propose it
(eg. position of Figure 1 in original size). Figures and tables are named in the following style:
Figure 1: Here comes the caption if only 1 sentence is used (sentence may not end with a period)
Figure 2: This is caption of Figure 2. Note difference if 2 or more sentences are used.
This template needs to be strictly respected. Any changes of fonts, margin, spacing etc. may not be done, because
changing of given format can result in delaying or rejecting manuscript processing.

All references to publications in the text should be presented in a list of references. References, if necessary, can be
divided into (1) published works, (2) unpublished reports and (3) internet sources. The manuscripts should be carefully
checked to ensure that the spelling of the authors´ names and dates are exactly the same in the text as in the reference
list. In the text refer to the author´s name or to original source and year of publication, followed – if necessary – by a
short reference to appropriate pages. If reference is written by more than two authors the name of the first author should
be used, followed by «et al.». This indication, however, should never be used in the list of references. In this list names
of authors with initials should be mentioned instead. The list of references should be arranged alphabetically on authors´
names, and chronologically per author. All references where DOI is available need to have it visible, after the end of
entry (...'dot' DOI). References, if it is needed, are separated into following subtitles - published papers (and/or books),
internet sources and/or from professional archives. The following formats should be used for the reference list:

Additional rules for obligatory or optional Croatian texts:
(1) If the paper is bilingual (Croatian and English, given rules need to be applied on both versions;
(2) If only abstracts are written, the tile and keywords need to be accompanied.

Sažetak (abstract in Croatian)
All papers will be published in English. The authors can choice to publish paper bilingual – in English and Croatian.
However, all papers solely in English need to have also Croatian abstract, put at the end of paper. The paper where at
least one author come from Croatia or is Croatian speaker need to replace Croatian abstract with Croatian extended
abstract (up to 1 page).
