Amherst Youth Basketball Playing Rotation (5 players) Coaches must fill out and exchange the bottom table before the opening tip-off of every game. List all players by name and jersey number identically in both tables. 1: 6: 2: 7: 3: 8: 4: 9: 5: Playing Rotation – a circular rotation is used (e.g., [1,2,3,4,5],[6,7,1,2,3],[4,5,6,7,1],…..). The table below can be used to assist with your rotation assuming that all players are available for the entire game. (Players not listed during a period are sitting.) The numbers correspond exactly to the numbers assigned by the coach in the table filled in above. During the regular season, if you have only 5 eligible players and one player fouls out, that player remains in the game, but all subsequent fouls on that player result in the consequences of the foul plus possession of the ball. During the playoffs, you would continue with 4 players. 4.
