Artistic Fee:
Please note: WCF supports emerging performers & presenters, particularly those
from our local area, and encourages applications from interested performers &
presenters who do not attach a fee, and/or include workshops as part of their
performance fee and who are self-managed. We are a not for profit group of
volunteers with a modest budget. Please submit the fee that makes sense for you to
attend the festival, if you want to be a part of the best little festival in OZ! In the
most amazing wet tropics rainforest.
This is a THREE DAY FESTIVAL, if successful you will be programmed over those 3
days. Most stage acts are programmed for one to two, 45 minute performances over
the 3 day duration of the festival.
Please factor your travel component to Cairns and return from Cairns in the
requested performance fee.

Travel:
All travel and transport costs from your location to Cairns and return from Cairns
must be booked and paid for by the performers and presenters.
Arrangements between Cairns and the festival site will be undertaken once
performers and presenters have made the above bookings and only available ONCE to
the festival on Friday early AM, returning on Monday AM (or Sunday PM) to Cairns.
Outside of those times must be paid for by performers and presenters.
Accommodation:

A special part of the beautiful camping area in Heritage listed wet tropics rainforest is
the Performer Village and pending availability, cabin-style, share accommodation to visiting
performers and presenters at the festival site.
Local performers and presenters are required to make their own arrangements.
Ticketing:
Please note that festival entry tickets will be issued to the artistic performers and
presenters ONLY. It is not feasible for WCF to issue tickets to spouses, managers and
entourage.
