The property was located in S/2 Sec. 25-21S-2W between Old 81 Hwy. and I-135 and 1/2 mi. east of
Moundridge.
The property was sold in two tracts and not offered together as a unit.
Tract 1 brought a high bid of $2675/acre and was described as 130.68 FSA cultivated acres in the SW/4
25-21S-R2W. There is a building site removed from the property. Soils are Ladysmith and Crete silt loam,
0-1% slopes. Rural water line is on site.
Tract 2 brought a high bid of $2550/acre and was described as the N/2 & SE/4 of the SE/4 25-21S-R2W.
120 acres with 117 FSA cultivated acres. Soils are Ladysmith and Crete silt clay loam, 0-1% slopes.
Terms of the sale were $10,000 down the day of the sale. Buyer to receive 1/3 of 2010 wheat crop. Land
is currenty leased for oil and gas exploration and all mineral interest passed to the buyer.
