 Responsible for leasing offset acreage and increasing reserves by 30 BCFG and 7 MMBO on
Ewing Bank production acreage.
 Evaluated and interpreted offshore Alabama acreage using 3D seismic and geologic data (Mobile
Area-two 3D surveys, covering 32 and 18 blocks, respectively). Developed 8 prospects, 7 drilled,
5 successful (all producing).
 Advised and coordinated contracted paleontological, isotope, and geochemical studies as
regional geologist for the Gulf of Mexico Division.
 Developed drilling plans, advised and monitored drilling activities of exploratory and development
wells.
 Conducted regional and prospect specific evaluations of the offshore Gulf of Mexico OCS
planning areas (Offshore Texas, Offshore Louisiana, OCS Lease Sales 69-118).
 Successfully farmed out Miocene acreage (acreage now is held by production). Prepared and
presented technical documentation of farm-out opportunities in Offshore Alabama and Florida.
