Sensitive Santa Please join us for our 6 annual holiday event Date: Time: Location: th Tuesday, December 1, 2015 Any time between 5:30 and 7:30 pm (reservations are not needed) South Allegheny Elementary School 1707 Washington Blvd. McKeesport, PA 15133 This is a very special time to visit with Santa and is reserved for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. If your child has special needs when it comes to sensory triggers, please join us for our 6th Annual Sensitive Santa event. We want to help you and your family, experience the magic of Christmas. This means your child’s visit with Santa will be more “sensory friendly” with lower lighting, quieter surroundings, and smaller setting. All children and their families will be able to visit Santa one family at a time. At this time, a photographer will capture the joyful moment and provide you with a free photo. If you or someone you know might have a child who would enjoy this wonderful event, please contact Christy Chicklo at 412-675-3070, ext. 2305 or cchicklo@southallegheny.org. Families do not need a reservation to attend the visit with Santa. Also we encourage you to share this information with educators, social workers or medical professionals who work with children on the Autism Spectrum. This is not a South Allegheny Student only program. We extend the invitation to all children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the surrounding counties. “Sensitive Santa” will allow the children to experience the same enjoyment with Santa, but in a much calmer, less intimidating environment. Please help us to spread the word about this wonderful event.
